• ♦  Manhole cable rollers are a type of rollers that are used on the edge of holes to aid in rolling cables down a hole. Usually, they are mostly used in mining and underground construction works. They are purposely placed at the mouth of a hole in order to reduce drag that is created when pulling a cable into a duct or manholes.

•   ♦  Manhole cable rollers are shaped in a curving manner with three rollers to aid in reducing friction and traction that may occur when the cable is being pulled. Manhole cable rollers are made of different sizes and can carry different rollers of different sizes. It depends with the type and size of cable you are using.

• ♦  A straight cable roller is the kind of a cable roller that is used for laying cables on trenches. Straight cable rollers are very important when it comes to laying cables. They can also be used over other cables and roll cables perfectly fine. Their main purpose is to bridge cables on trenches.

    ♦  A straight cable roller will help reduce kinks that may be formed during pulling of cables over trenches. It does not matter the difference in elevation of any side of the trench. They are made of robust materials to withstand loads of up to 300kg.

•  ♦  Currently, we have three types of straight cable rollers. Each of these straight cable rollers has its own application but they all do the same thing

•   ♦  List type cable roller – List type cable rollers are used to bridge only one single cable on a trench. They resemble a single pulley system. They have many applications and can also be used to bridge a cable between any two points in a work station. They can also be used in large buildings to aid in pulling cables for installation.

•   ♦  Cable roller pulley block – The pulley block is a system of cable rollers that are attached together to aid in bridging two or more cables. Usually, the pulley block is made up of two to four pairs of rollers. They serve the same purpose as list type cable rollers only that they hold more cables.

    ♦  Cable roller pully block is mostly used to differentiate a set of cables from many cables. When there are many cables going over a trench, its most important to differentiate them because pulling them all together can be quite challenging and cause stress on cables and affect their performance. It's important to isolate each and every set of cables. It will also be easier to know which cables to pull, and it will also require less effort to pull them.

    ♦  Ground cable roller – A ground cable roller is mostly used to hold single cables to the ground. The cables can efficiently be pulled within the ground with much ease without causing any harm to them.
